Bageshwar, Uttarakhand gets 5kw FM Relay Transmitter & Operating Frequency is 101.5MHz

22 January, 2016: a 5KW FM relay transmitter with Limited Studio Facility was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for I&B Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore in Bageshwar, Uttarakhand. Its operating frequency is 101.5 MHz. It will reach distances upto about 30 KM and about 1.5 lakhs people in the region are expected to be benefitted by broadcast from this setup.

This station was approved under 10th plan scheme. The station with limited studio facilities has C-Band receiving terminal and has DTH facility too. At present AIR Bageshwar will relay the programmes of AIR, Almora and local originated programmes will be introduced in future.
