Champions Trophy: India beat South Korea by 2-1, keeping chances of gold medal alive





India got back in the game by winning against South Korea yesterday June 14 in the deciding match played at the Lee Valley Hockey Centre in the Champions Trophy 2016. Captain’s SV Sunil’s 39th minute goal broke the deadlock and took them to victory. Though South Korea equalised in the 57th minute but immediately after this within 30 seconds, Nikkin Thimmaiah scored a goal and gave India the lead it needed. India now has seven points from four matches going to the last league clash against Australia on Thursday.
