Doordarshan's 'Best of Indian Cinema' series to screen 'Shevri', 'Kantatar' and other critically-acclaimed films

As many as 104 award-winning and critically acclaimed films are being showcased by Doordarshan under the initiative 'Best Of Indian Cinema'.
As a part of the bi-weekly initiative which started in November 2013, DD has been screening multi-lingual films such as 'Maati Maay' by Chitra Palekar, 'Harud' by Aamir Bashir and 'Kanchivaram' by Priyadarshan, among many others.
For April, films such as 'Kanasemba Kudureyaneri' by Girish Kasaravalli, 'Jaangfaai Joonaak' by Sanjiv Sabhapandit and 'Kantatar' by Bappaditya Bandopadhayay are going to be showcased on Sundays and Mondays.
